She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Talmage Rorie, Sr. and Edna Gaddy Rorie; her spouses, Ward G. Tarlton, Sr. and Darlene of Oxford, NC; and her siblings, Juanita Pippin of Rockingham and Rorie, Jr. of Lilesville.
She is survived by: her children, Ward Tarlton, Jr., Barbara Tarlton of Wadesboro and Linda T. Englert of Fletcher, NC; her grandchildren, Gerald Tarlton (Jean) of Durham, NC and Lindsay T. Satterwhite (Vince) of Stem, NC.; her great grandchild Avery Rose Satterwhite; her sister Mary R. Daniels (Jim) of Clinton, SC; her sister-in-law Odessa Brown of Surfside Beach, SC; and also Carl of Fletcher, NC. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
