He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Frank Pinkston and Lillian Odom Pinkston; and his siblings, Richard Pinkston, Zerlene Ratliff and Patty Norwood.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Jonathan Pinkston, Preston Pinkston, Amy Pinkston, Spencer Amberson, Elliot Amberson and Ashley J. Smith; and his great grandchildren, Preston Pinkston Jr., Isaac Pinkston, Jace Pinkston, Haleigh Jantzen and Juliana Jantzen.
