We are sad to announce that on July 13, 2022, at the age of 77, Robert Eugene Furr (Wadesboro, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Furr of Washington and Amanda Elizabeth Hawkins Furr; his wife Judy McCall Furr; and his brothers, Bobby Furr, Buddy Furr and G. W. Furr, Jr..
He is survived by: his children, Kelly Furr Cohen (Marc) of Springfield, VA, Robbie Furr (Peter Jawidzik) of Concord and Nanci Furr of Rural Hall; his grandchildren, Taylor Furr Hartman (Brandon) of Walnut Cove, Austin Furr of Clover, SC, Cameron Furr, Amanda Cohen of Springfield, VA, Adam Wilson of Harrisburg and Rachel Wilson of Harrisburg; his great grandchild Baby Hartman; his siblings, Jeanette Butler of Norfolk, VA, Ruby Linker of Concord, Judy Gray of Concord, Wanda Lewis of Concord, Ray Furr (Marla) of Concord and Gary Furr (Carlene) of Concord; and his brothers-in-law, Ray Lambert (Sarah) of Harrisburg and Wayne "Bob" Honeycutt of Harrisburg. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Cabarrus County, 5003 Hospice Lane, Kannapolis, NC 28081.
