He is survived by: his mother Mary E. Sturdivant Lillie; his daughters, Megan Sturdivant of Bronx, NY, Shardonay Ford of Bronx, NY and Layla Boone of Wadesboro; his grandson Avion Chester of Bronx, NY; his siblings, Raven Tillman (Michael), Claudia Lillie (Victor), Megan Ratliff (Burnic) and Terrence Horn; his aunt Rose Grace (Charles); his uncles, Roger Sturdivant, Vernon Sturdivant (Delores), Gregory Sturdivant, Eric Sturdivant (Lisa), Allen Sturdivant (Angela), Darryl Sturdivant (Robin), Jeffery Sturdivant (Tara), Reverend Alexander Parsons (Thelma), Robert Parsons (Rita) and Joe Parsons (Sue); his siblings, Keetra Sturdivant, Felicia Smith, Mickey Smith and Rickey Smith; his nieces and nephews, Shamuel, Mahagany, Shalik, Eric Jr., Dezirae, Maliyah, Matheus, Shaheim, Amari, Kadence and Dashunna; and his aunt Susan Little (Callie).
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Smith's Memorial Chapel (604 Salisbury St, Wadesboro, NC 28170). A funeral service was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of floral arrangements, the family asks that donations be made for Rico's funeral expenses.
