He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth "Lib" Grooms Dawkins; his son Tad Dawkins of Ansonville; his great grandchildren, Jullian "JuJu" Dawkins, Wyatt McDonald and Harper McDonald; and his sister Ruby D. Desper of Richmond, VA..
Services to celebrate his life will be held at a later time due to Covid-19.
