She is survived by: her niece Latosha Boggan; her siblings, Larry McLendon of Wadesboro, NC, Sallie Boggan (Clarence) of Charlotte, NC and Sadie Billie of Lexington, NC; her sisters-in-law, Francis McLendon (Amos) of Thomasville, NC and Mickie Gilbert (Lewis) of New Jersey; her nieces and nephews, Eveatte McLendon Flowers, Shantel McLendon Wall, Lewis McLendon (Sylvia) of Wadesboro, NC. and Samuel McLendon of Wadesboro, NC.; and her close friend Martha Lewis. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
