It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Montiel Antavious Rivers (Wadesboro, North Carolina), who passed away on February 5, 2019, at the age of 37, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his grandparents, James H. Rives and Rose Anna Hinson. He is survived by: his parents, Markita Hinson of Florence and Micheal Anthony Rivers of Morven; his children, Xzvion Montiel Rivers of Ansonville, Tristan Ma, Khail Rivers of Morven and Anthenia Rivers of Greensboro; his siblings, Marcus Anthony Rivers of Morven, Derrick Horne of Lilesville, Martesha Artoya Rivers of Florence and Sheneka Rivers of Morven; his nieces, MyKaila Rivers of Florence, DeKia Townsend of Morven and Charlotte Rivers of Columbia; his nephew Deion Rivers of Greenville; and his grandparents, Lucy Rivers of Morven and Howard Melton. He is also survived by two uncles and eight aunts; a host of cousins and friends.
