He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Abner Lee "Tab" Deese and Annie Elizabeth "Sue" Chewning Deese; his wife Jewel Hildreth Deese; his son Micheal Keith Deese (Tammy) of Rockingham; his grandsons, Micheal Tyler Deese (Kaileigh) of Carolina Beach and Patrick Logan Deese of Charlotte; his great grandchildren, Kristian and Jayde Meeks of Carolina Beach; his siblings, Abner Deese, Jr. of Birmingham, AL, Carlton Deese (Donna) of Wadesboro, Libby Evans (Tom) of Houston, TX and Abbie McKenzie of Lexington, SC; and his sisters-in-law, Thelma Carpenter of York, SC and Virginia Holloway (Martin) of Polkton.
The family suggests that in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to Richmond County Hospice Haven, 1119 N US 1 HWY, Rockingham, NC 28379.
