He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Alexander and Annie Sellers Ratliff; his daughter Tonia Lynn Ratliff Caudle; and his brother Hoyt Ratliff. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Bunn Ratliff; his daughter Stephanie R. Wilson of Ansonville; his grandchildren, Abigail Wilson, Emily Wilson, John Michael Caudle and Rebecca Lynn Caudle; his siblings, Andrea Miller (Ken) of Salisbury, Anthony Ratliff (Patty) of Wadesboro and Darwin Ratliff (Pat) of Chattanooga, TN; and his pet Mindy.
