He was predeceased by: his parents, Sidney Thomas and Hazel Watkins. He is survived by: his children, Darrell Blackmon, Sr. (Katondra), Rachel Ingram (Lee) of High Point, NC, Marvin Boggan of High Point, NC, Michael Rush, Jr. (Octavia) and Lisa McMoore (William); and his sisters, Creola Rush Clark and Dorothy Rush Hines. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren.
