It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Ellen Harrington Russell (Wadesboro, North Carolina), who passed away on November 10, 2021, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ed G. Harrington and Fannie Howard Harrington; her husband Johnny Russell; and her son John Edward Russell. She is survived by: her pet Sassy Marie; her aunts, Peg Edwards of Charlotte and Betty Rose Taylor of Wadesboro; her siblings-in-law, Ervin and Phyllis Thompson of Candor; and her close friends, Nikki Armfield of Polkton and Helen Galliher of Ansonville. She is also survived by many cousins and friends.
