She was predeceased by: her children, Queen Esther Huntley, Myrtle Lee Williams, Sheppherd Curtis, Jr. and Annette Laverne Ojeifoh; her siblings, Lillie Mae Chisem, Annie Jane Tillman and James Chisem; and her grandson Cedric Jamal Curtis.
She is survived by: her daughter Angilene Curtis Mitchell; her grandchildren, Twanna J. Crawford, Tamekka Huntley, Tiffany Lynette Ojeifoh, Audrea Shaunte Ojeifoh, Eric Jamaul Brown and Marchevitz Devon Curtis; her son Connell Stevens (Bonnie); her grandchild Aja Alexandra Nealy; and her cousin Bessie Carter. She is also survived by sister, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
