She is survived by: her children, Kerlisa Byrd of Greensboro, NC, Chandra Byrd of Greensboro, NC, Herman Byrd Jr. and Mavis Byrd-Marshall (Dennis) of Salisbury, NC; her grandchildren, Sylvia, Alana and Queen; her niece Lasonya; and her nephews, Marcus and Cleveland. She is also survived by brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
