She was predeceased by: her parents, Laura Virginia and Marshall Daniel Taft; her husband David Blalock; and her brothers, Dan and Bill Taft.

She is survived by: her son David Blalock, Jr. (Nancy); her granddaughter Lauren Blalock Sefton (Eric); and her great grandchild Connor Blalock Sefton.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to MSA Hospice, 4685 Hwy 17 S. Bypass, Myrtle Beach, SC 29577.
