He was predeceased by: his parents, Eddie Richardson and Bessie Richardson; his grandparents, Edna Mae Dean, Whit Richardson, Talbert and Ethel Ingram; his aunt Esally Blakeney; and his uncles, Nathaniel Richardson, Nathaniel Smith, Roosevelt Blakeney and Elder Carl Ingram.
He is survived by: his siblings, Shavon Richardson, Rodney Richardson (Renee) and James Richardson; his aunts, Cora Smith of Wadesboro, Effie Ingram of Wadesboro and Ruby Medley; and his close friend Brenda Tillman. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
