She was predeceased by: her parents, Curley Dew Kelly and Lillie Mae Carter Kelly; and her siblings, Tillie Butler, Willie Kelly, Leonard Kelly, Mary Ruth Treadaway and Betty Jo Deese.
She is survived by: her husband Barry Grooms; her sons, Michael Grooms (Lisa) of Marshville, Scottie Grooms (Heather) of Lilesville and Stanley Grooms of Lilesville; her grandchildren, Summer Parker (Billy) of Lilesville, Skylar Grooms of Lilesville, Hannah Grooms of Indian Trail, Hayden Grooms of Marshville and Holly Grooms of Marshville; her great grandchild Braxton Parker; and her brother Wayne Kelly (Linda) of Morven. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews.
