Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Joseph Michael Goodwin (Wadesboro, North Carolina), who passed away at the age of 68, on November 3, 2020. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Sharpe Goodwin and Sadie Ross Downer Goodwin; and his siblings, Kress Goodwin, Buddy Goodwin and Beverly Freeman.

He is survived by: his wife Debbie Sheppard Goodwin; his children, Lindy Goodwin of Lilesville and Travis Goodwin (Kristie) of Lilesville; his stepdaughter Monica Phillips (Ian) of Wendell; his grandchildren, Lane Goodwin of Lilesville, Josey Beverly of Lilesville, Raylyn Barnhill of Lilesville, Landis Goodwin of Lilesville and Payson Goodwin of Lilesville; and his siblings, Millie Burkett (Jerry) of Mt. Pleasant, Mary Ellen Goodwin (Freddy) of Holden Beach and Donnie Goodwin of Rockingham.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorials be made to a local Anson County charity of the donor's choice.
