She was predeceased by: her parents, Atlas T. Kendall and Katie Sellers Kendall; her husband Henry Gaskin "Jock" Lear; and her brother Byron Kendall. She is survived by: her children, Gary Lear of Wadesboro, Tony Lear (Paula) of Lilesville and Wanda Benton of Mt. Gilead; and her sisters-in-law, Dovie Kendall of Burlington and Sara Lear of Wadesboro.
