It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Preston Sellers (Wadesboro, North Carolina), who passed away on January 18, 2021, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his child Napoleon; his wife Doretha R. Sellers; his children, Emmanuel Sellers (Arlinda) of Wingate, NC, Terry Fordham of Charlotte, NC, Angela Rivers (Roy) of Charlotte, NC, Darlena Huggins (Allen) of Monroe, NC and Debra Wallace (Kenny) of Charlotte, NC.; his grandchildren, Teyah Allen (Terence), Mallory Cox, Trinity Sellers, Elijah Sellers, Quinton Huggins, Ashaurrea Smith and Omari Smith; and his siblings, Jasper Sellers (Shirley) of Spring Hill, Florida, Beulah Mae Redfern of Wadesboro, NC, Rosetta Bennet of Albemarle, NC and Margaret Knots (Jimmy) of Wadesboro, NC. He is also survived by two great-grandchildren.
He was the owner of 1 Barber Shop in Charlotte- Grier Heights Barber Shop and worked at Flowers Barber Shop for many years, up until the pandemic.
