He is survived by: his wife Linda Twitty Burr; his children, Justin Whitley of Polkton, David Burr (Tarka) of Albemarle, Kimberly Burr and Misty Burr of Lilesville; his stepson Scott Whitley of New Salem; his grandchildren, Hailey and Braden; and his stepsiblings, Chris Smith of Wadesboro, Rosa Clark of Atlanta, Mae Smith (Charlie) of Atlanta, Eliza Cofield (Burkhard) of Atlanta, Retha Little (Tim) of Lilesville and Ann Scott of Lilesville.
