She was predeceased by: her parents, George Lewis Gettier and Hester Gertrude Peters Gettier; her husband Alfred John Hodges; and her son John Alfred Hodges. She is survived by: her children, Bill Hodges (Arturo Rodriguez) of Miami, FL, Kathy Kelly (Dale) of Lilesville, Robert Hodges of Asheville, Linda Tyson (Willie) of Polkton, Steve Hodges (Tammy) of Greer, SC and Carol Holloway; and her brother Lawrence Gettier (Linda) of Raliegh. She is also survived by mom, caring for her husband and 7 children.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Sacred Heart Catholic Church or to Community Home Care and Hospice.
