He was predeceased by: his parents, James Thomas Rorie, Sr. and Glendora Rorie (Faulkner); his wife Shelia Harris Rorie; and his sister Lucille Rorie. He is survived by: his children, Beverley Mungo (Michael) of Monroe, NC, Von Huntley (Sherry) of Monroe, NC, Mickey Harris (Bridget) of Rochester, NY and Jamey Rorie of Wingate, NC; his foster brother Albert Staton; his sister-in-law Shirley Parker (Curtis) of Wingate, NC; and his pet Peanut. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and countless special nieces, nephews.
