It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jack David Porten (Wadesboro, North Carolina), who passed away on March 22, 2024, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his brother Matthew. He is survived by: his parents, Richard Carl Porten and Joan Penird Porten; his wife Kristi McCollum Porten; his daughter McKinley; his siblings, Kelly Ourth (John) of St. Louis, MO and Bill Porten (Becky) of Las Vegas, NV; his parents-in-law, Betty Jo McCollum of Wadesboro and Ronald McCollum (Pam) of Marshville; his siblings-in-law, Wendy and Tony Ricketts of Wadesboro; his nieces and nephews, McKayla Chavis (Dec) of Cheraw, SC and Trace Ricketts (Emily Edwards) of Wadesboro; his friends, Pam and Steve Tarlton of Wadesboro; and his pets, Kimber, Belle and Duke.
