With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Herbert Mason Horne (Wadesboro, North Carolina), who passed away on February 5, 2023 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Oscar Horne and Gertrude Eva Smith Horne; his wife Mary Alice Bowers Horne; and his siblings, Lila Bowers, Rebecca "Bet" Stilwell, Carl "Pete" Horne and Lewis Dale Horne.
He is survived by: his sons, Todd Horne (Tammy Raffaldt) of Polkton and Dale Horne (Tammy) of Polkton; his grandchildren, Tiffany Mowry (David) of Polkton, Chris Horne (D'Anya) of Peachland, Brandon Horne (Kelsey) of Monroe, Martin Seppelt (Angel) of Pageland, SC, Zachary Seppelt of Pageland, SC, Madison Seppelt of Polkton, Nicole Horne of Polkton and Jesse of Polkton; his brothers, James "Ed" Horne (Rhonda) of Shawnee, OK and Larry Horne of Polkton; and his sister-in-law Janet York of Pineville. He is also survived by 4 great-grandchildren.
