She was predeceased by: her parents, William Baxter Hartsell and Rebecca Emiline Harvell Hartsell; her husband Matthew Julian Morris; her son Jimmy Lee Morris; and her friend Charles Boyle.

She is survived by: her children, John Morris (Gloria) of Virginia Beach, VA, Joann Faulkner (Wesley) of Peachland and Jack Morris of Wadesboro; her daughter-in-law Judy Morris of Wadesboro; her grandchildren, Beverly Dry (Hank) of Locust, Jade Morris of Virginia Beach, VA, Matt Morris, Jason Morris, Dale Morris and Daniel Morris; and her stepgrandchildren, Emma Faulkner (James) of Decatur, GA and Evan Faulkner (Jessica) of Norwood.
