It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Guy Webb Ratliff of Wadesboro, North Carolina, who passed away on September 8, 2021, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Franklin and Lena Shoemaker Ratliff; his daughter Arlene Ratliff Swails; and his siblings, Frank Ratliff, Monroe Ratliff, Myrtle R. Hildreth, Floyd Ratliff, Lena R. Albright and Johnny Ratliff.
He is survived by: his children, Linda Rose Ratliff Martin (Johnny) of Wadesboro and Guy Wesley Ratliff (Cindy) of Wadesboro; his grandchildren, Kevin Swails (Paula), Michael Martin (Terri), Derick Swails (Michelle), Timmy Martin (Leslie), Lori Strungis (Mark), Tracie Johnson and Jennifer Deges (Jeremy); and his siblings, Sarah Livingston, Clara Hendrick and Joe Ratliff. He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild.
