Grady Christopher Boone Obituary

WADESBORO - On Sunday, July 24, 2022, Mr. Grady Christopher "Chris" Boone, 52, passed away at his home.

Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Friday, July 29, 2022 at Faith Baptist Church with Rev. Rick Eason and Rev. Donnie Helms officiating. Interment will follow in Jowers Cemetery.

The family will greet friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Thursday, July 28, 2022 at Leavitt Funeral Home and at other times at the home of his parents.

Chris was born March 6, 1970 in Richmond County, NC and was a son of T.F. Boone and Shelba Jackson Boone. He completed high school and later studied Basic Law Enforcement Training at Stanly Community College.

He worked for a number of years with the Anson County Sherrif Department, leaving as a Lieutenant. He was employed with Huntley Oil in Wadesboro.

Chris was a member of Faith Baptist Church.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Kristen Leigh Boone; his children, Morgan Baldwin (Chad) of Rockingham, Misty Boone of Wadesboro, Matt Boone of Rockingham, Haileigh Boone, and Aaron Boone both of the home; his grandchildren, Trinity Boone, Taylin A. Boone, and Benton Cranford; his parents, T.F. and Shelba Boone of Wadesboro; and his brothers, Tony Boone (Donna) of Oakboro and Kevin Boone (Samantha) of Wadesboro.
