She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Sylvester Rushing Sr. and Bessie Mae Blakeney Rushing; her siblings, Henrietta Redfearn (Joe Heath, Sr.), Wanda Hatchell (Jimmy), Willie Simon (Alton), Lonnie M. Rushing and Harold L. Rushing, Sr.; her niece Vivian L. Simon-Horne; and her great-niece Yolanda D. Simon.
She is survived by: her husband Mark Barrino; her children, Curtis V. Barrino, Tony C. Barrino and Marquette B. Barrino; her grandchildren, Shannon Buchanan, Trevor S. Barrino, Lucas King and Sterlin A. M. Barrino-Pierre; and her siblings, Henry S. Rushing, Jr., Sophie "Peg" Anthony (Benny), Bonnie L. Rushing and Omega R. Autry (Loyce).
