With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Frances Tyson Floyd (Wadesboro, North Carolina), who passed away on June 29, 2022 at the age of 79. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Frances Tyson Floyd to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Caudle Tyson and Irene Williams Tyson; her husband Allen Floyd; and her brothers, Henry Tyson and Baxter Tyson.
She is survived by: her daughter Robin Collins of Rockingham; her grandchildren, Kenneth Allen Sasser (Becca) of Rockingham and Heather Chappell of Rockingham; her great grandchildren, Kaylee and Melody Sasser; and her siblings, Ben Tyson (Betty) of Wadesboro and Margaret Batten of Gainesville, GA. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews.
Because of her love of children and that she and Allen supported the organization, the family suggests memorials be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
