He is survived by: his wife Katie Grady Ward; his children, Jenna Ward Jenkins (Mitch) of Greenville, SC and Ken Ward (Leta) of Cary, NC; and his granddaughters, Elizabeth Jenkins, Victoria Jenkins, Madison Ward and Ashley Ward.
