She is survived by: her brother Prentiss Dumas; her children, Catherine Sturdivant (Caleb) of Lilesville, NC, William T. Pegues of Nutley and Addie Pegues Little of Jersey City, NJ; her grandchildren, Melissa Merritt (Tony), Xavier Pegues (Melody), Norlonn Sturdivant (Brooksie), Latasha Zimmerman (Lindsey), Thomas S. Little and Kenautis D. Little (Keisha); her sister-in-law Edna P. McCauley of Thomasville, NC; her niece Ella Evonne Underwood of Lilesville, NC; and her friends, Ruby Sturdivant and Georgia Medley. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren.
