With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Eliza Jane McLendon Porter (Wadesboro, North Carolina), born in Lilesville, North Carolina, who passed away on February 5, 2021 at the age of 78. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Amos McLendon and Bessie McLendon; her siblings, Mary Jean Sawyer, Veronica McLendon of Greenbelt, MD, Joyce Brunson of Charlotte, NC. and James McLendon of High Point, NC.; her sister-in-law Ophelia McLendon of High Point, NC.; her goddaughter Cheryl Huntley; and her close friends, Nadia, Florine and Dorotha. She was also cherished by nieces, nephews, and friends.
Due to COVID-19 mandates face mask/coverings must be worn by all attendees at all times.
