He was predeceased by: his father Henry S. Charlton. He is survived by: his mother Ruth Deese Charlton of Wadesboro; his children, Emily McGovern (Jeremy) of Tybee Island, GA, Eddie Charlton of Maryland and Winslow Charlton of Wilmington; his stepdaughter Victoria Moore of Kannapolis; his grandson Henry; his brother Jerry Charlton (Betty) of Wadesboro; and also, Frank Jones and Betty Jean Bailey (Tony). He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
