She is survived by: her children, Joe Thomas Rivers, Jr. of Matthews, Doris Rivers (Ben) of Polkton and Shelly Lowery (Mike) of Morven; her grandchildren, Brittney Herring (James) of Dothan, AL, Quentin Lowery of Anson County, JuQuaveon Lowery of Anson County, Marquesia Lowery of Anson County, Marquavia Lowery of Anson County, Myasia Lowery of Anson County, Mylasia Lowery of Anson County, Maleyiah Lowery of Anson County, Joe Thomas Rivers, III of Anson County and Devin Rivers of Anson County; her siblings, Charles Lindsey (Lee Doris) of Morven, James Lindsey (Frances) of Morven, Otis Lee Lindsey (Betty) of Thomasville, Mary Hester Lindsey of Chesterfield and Irene Lindsey; and her cousin Shirley Crawford. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren, and family members.
