She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Mary Lou Williams Connelly and Floyd Gerald Connelly; her husband Phillip Dewitt Lear; her sons, Phillip Alan Lear of Wadesboro and Tyler Seth Lear of Wadesboro; and her brother Jerry Lee Connelly of Wadesboro.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Faith Baptist Church, 3520 Stanback Ferry Ice Plant Rd., Wadesboro, NC 28170.
