She is survived by: her husband Perry Melton; her children, Sheila Jackson Teal and Perry Lashaun Melton; her grandchildren, Brent Little and Demetrice Teal; her great grandchild Serenity Little; her siblings, Garthenia Crowder of Wadesboro, NC, Beulah Pratt of Morven, NC, Irma Nelson and Johnsie Perkins of High Point, NC; and her close friends, Eva Ratliff of Wadesboro, NC and Candance Hamilton of Wadesboro, NC. She is also survived by five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews; as well as cousins, friends.
