He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Alexander McRorie and Eleanor Ruth McLaurin McRorie; his wife Patricia Thompson McRorie; and his sister Annette McRorie. He is survived by: his children, Brian McRorie (Mary) of Stallings, Sharon Seawell (Michael) of New Bern, Donna McCormick (Mike) and Mary Kendall (Max); his grandchildren, Bennett McRorie, Wesley Seawell, Sara Seawell, Michelle Brock (Stan) and Jak Kendall; his great grandchildren, Kylie Seawell, Emma Seawell, Mac Brock and Adam Brock; and his siblings, Larry McRorie of Mt. Holly, Ricky McRorie (Sherri) of Norwood and Becky Edwards (Chuck) of Taylors, SC..
