He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Thomas Little and Glennie Lindsey Little; and his brothers, Walter Thomas Little, Ray Frank Little and Rufus Junior Little.
He is survived by: his wife Vernette Simon Little of Wadesboro; his son Dexter Little Jr. of Baltimore, Maryland.; his grandchildren, Jeffrey Shine, Amireron Baker and Dexter Henry Shine; his siblings, Virginia Mae Little Blakney (Louis), Elosie Little Bennett (Joe) and Robert Thomas Little of Wadesboro; his aunts, Louise Little of Wadesboro and Wincy Harrington of Wadesboro; and his uncle Lando Little (Creola) of Winston Salem. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Due to COVID-1, Smith's Funeral Directors require that all attendees to any service, viewing or visitation wear a face mask/covering and practice social distancing at all times.
