He is survived by: his children, Walter Harden, Jr. (Clara) of Ansonville, NC, Reginald Harden (Annie) of Hamlet, NC and Linda Harden of Hamlet, NC; his sisters, Ida Kelly of Raleigh, NC, Brenda Harden of Columbia, SC and Geneva McBride (Ronnie) of Kingstree, SC; his siblings-in-law, Walter Thomas Tyson of Philadelphia, PA and Mary Harden of Charlotte, NC; his friend Jewel Chambers Bowman of Charlotte, NC; his grandchildren, Lauren McKenzie, Israel Cash, Jonathan Josiah and Asa McKinley; and also, Yolanda, Jeremy (Ashley) and Jonathan (Portia). He is also survived by fourteen loving grandchildren; twenty-two great grandchildren.
