He was predeceased by: his parents, James Gaddy and Netta Watson Gaddy; his wife Darlene Gaddy; his son Rodney Lee Gaddy; and his siblings, Floyd Gaddy, Nathaniel Gaddy, Zesta Gaddy, Beulah Mullins and Cora Lee Hocutt.
He is survived by: his children, Cordell Ray Gaddy Jr. (Carolyn), Antone Dwayne Gaddy (Francine), James Cason, Angelo Cason, Cory Cason and Angela Gaddy; his grandchildren, Shalonda Gaddy, Adwyn Gaddy, J'Nyus Davis, Jeremiah Gaddy, Autumn L. Cason, Bryson O'Neal Cason, D'Angelo Cason, Malik Cason, Angel Cason and Jaquice Cason; his great grandchild Zachariya Gaddy; his siblings, Lydia Little of New London, NC, Virginia Cash, Annie Mae Leak of Wadesboro, NC, Elnora Joseph (Roy) of Norwalk, Connecticut and James Gaddy (Ann) of Wadesboro, NC.; and his sisters-in-law, Patricia Gaddy, Bertha Gainey, Beverly Gainey, Elaine Grant and Kimberly Gainey. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
