He is survived by: his friend Anne Louise Roye of Caroline County, VA; his son Timothy Darnell of Charlotte, NC; his wife Anne Louise Bennett; his daughter Reshe Bennett (Gary) of Bowie, MD; his grandchildren, Quiana Bennett of Greensboro, NC, Timeisha Hunt (Colorado), Bryce Bennett, Railyn Denise and Mia Sabrie of Bowie, MD; his siblings, Jasper Bennett, Jr. (Marjorie), Nelson Bennett (Winnie) of Morven, NC, Evelent Steele (James) of Upper Marlboro, MD and Synetha Pratt (Donnie); his brother-in-law Robert Roye (Linda) of Manassas, VA; and his cousin Doris Spaulding (Elmer) of Morven, NC.. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
His battle with serious medical issues in recent years and through the pandemic showed his courage in facing life's challenges.
