He was predeceased by: his parents, Allen Robinson and Doretha Robinson; and his siblings, Allen, William, Melvin, Lenwood, Henry Robinson and Dora Mae Gainey.
He is survived by: his wife Paulette Robinson; his children, Charles Robinson Jr. of Wadesboro, Angie Robinson (Bradford) of Wadesboro and Paul Robinson (Kristen) of Wadesboro; his stepson James Lester Melton (Ursula); his siblings, Bertha L. Ratliff of Wadesboro and Edward Robinson of Wadesboro; and his niece Valerie Ratliff. He is also survived by other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
