He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Lacy Ratliff and Sara Burch Ratliff; his wife Kay West Ratliff; and his sister Susan R. Brown. He is survived by: his son Carl Ratliff of Ft; his granddaughters, Kaylynn Ratliff and Joslynn Lily Ratliff; and his siblings, Bill Ratliff (Betty Jean) of Wadesboro and Elizabeth R. Goins (Ronald) of Winston-Salem.
