She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Polk and Estell Bellemey Polk; and her siblings, Lester Polk, Ed Polk, Willie Brown Polk Jr., Evelyn Brown and Emma Ruth Gaddy.
She is survived by: her children, Lisa Smith (Dale) of Polkton, NC, Phyllis Gaddy, Martha Gaddy of Wadesboro, NC and Jackie Rushing (Donald) of Marshville, NC; her siblings, Mary Polk, Annie Taylor of Polkton, NC, Sarah Burns of Lilesville, NC., Ernest Polk (Dana) and Henry Polk of Polkton, NC.; her aunt Ernestine Riggins King of Tabor City, NC.; and her close friend Ronald Pemberton. She is also survived by grandchildren and seventeen (17) great grandchildren.
Face Mask/Coverings are required for entry into the funeral home and are to be worn at all times.
