He is survived by: his wife Prophetess Celria Byrd; his daughters, Findey Knotts and Sindey Polk (Ervin) of Wadesboro, NC; his brother Jacob Byrd Jr.; his grandchildren, Fonda, April, Tadarian, Rontavious, Shontavious and Shanna; his nephew Bryant Byrd; his uncle Willie Byrd (Carolyn) of Charlotte, NC; and his siblings-in-law, Martha Byrd of Wadesboro, NC, Deloris Byrd of Indian Trail, NC, Bernice Dunlap of Winston Salem, NC and Robert Smith of Fuquay, NC.. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
