It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Beulah Vauss Brooks (Wadesboro, North Carolina), who passed away on May 12, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Vauss Sr. and Fannie Sturdivant Vauss; her husband Joe Brooks; her siblings, Willie Jr. Vauss, Jimmy Vauss, Erskine Vauss, Alfred Vauss, Lonne Vauss, Eugenia Ratliff, Clarice Burris and Irene Mason; and her niece Dr. Fannie Lee Ratliff.
She is survived by: her children, Jeanette Little (Lysander), Lee William Jr. of Anson County, NC and Andre T. Smith (Tammy). She is also survived by grandchildren (11) great-grands, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
