With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alonzo Andrew Parsons Sr. (Wadesboro, North Carolina), who passed away on April 14, 2021 at the age of 67. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Lonzo Parsons and Mary Henrietta Parsons; and his siblings, Pastor Lennon Parson (Shirley) of Indian Trail, NC, Pastor Eddie Parsons (Wanda) of Monroe, NC, Apostle (Ronnie Parson), Minister Paul Parsons (Adrianne) of Rolesville, N. C, Carrie Coletrane (Gregory Coletrane) of Wadesboro, Patricia Cole of Wadesboro and Alice Gatewood (Daniel) of Albemarle, N. C..

He is survived by: his wife Elaine Parsons; and his children, Bridgett Dawes (Russell) of Smithfield, NC, Zakiya Gaddy of Charlotte, NC, Rev. Alonzo A. Parsons, Jr. (Yolanda) of Charlotte, NC, William Gaddy (Najmah) of Wake Forest, NC and Aundrea Parsons of Smithfield, NC.. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

There he preached every first and third Sundays and gave spiritual council to staff and residents until the pandemic occurred.

He grew up with a solid foundation.
