It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Allen Floyd of Wadesboro, North Carolina, who passed away on April 23, 2021, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Franklin "Benny" Floyd and Eva Stephens Floyd; and his siblings, J. T. Floyd, Elizabeth Smith, Charles Floyd, Sue Ashworth, Joyce Daniels, Robert Floyd and Ray Floyd.
He is survived by: his wife Fran Tyson Floyd; his daughter Robin Floyd Collins of Rockingham; his grandchildren, Kenneth Allen Sasser (Rebecca) of Hamlet, Heather Nicole Chappell of Rockingham, Kaylee and Melody; and his siblings, Edward Floyd (Stella) of Ellerbe, Dennis Floyd of Ellerbe, Helen Parker (James) of Nashville, AR and Steve Floyd of Siler City.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
