He was predeceased by: his parents, James Woodrow and Malissa Lee Adams; his daughter Stephanie Adams Pope; and his brothers-in-law, Waylon Barefoot and Tony Beasley.
He is survived by: his wife Sally Wade Adams; his children, Jamie Adams (Heather) of Wade and Tina Cashwell (Wayne) of Autryville; his grandchildren, Brandon Norris (Victoria) of Godwin, Hunter Norris of Godwin, Chipper Cashwell (Catie Jo) of Apex, Haley Cashwell of Autryville, Madison Adams of Wilmington and Lauren Adams of Wade; his great grandchildren, Alexis Baker of Godwin, Brayson Norris of Godwin, Woodrow Norris of Godwin and Reid Norris of Godwin; his sisters, Phyllis Barefoot of Benson and Sandra Beasley of Dunn; and his brother-in-law Jerry Wade (Mary) of Eastover.
