He is survived by: his wife Barbara Jean Powell Dickerson; his children, Jeffrey Dickerson (Renee) of Roxboro, NC and Jeanne D. Tate (Campbell) of Efland, NC; his grandchildren, Chris Dickerson (Tara) and Lindsay Foushee (Matthew); his great grandchildren, Conner Dickerson, Collin Dickerson and Madison Milam; his siblings, Talmadge Dickerson, Joyce Carver, Ruby Whitfield, Ruth Burch and Christine Kepley; and his stepbrothers, Ted Dickerson, Tim Dickerson and Jesse Duncan (Brenda).
